Raw Material Safety Standards

Plastic food containers are used to contact the food, so they are covered by various standards including the Food Sanitation Act, Food Safety Basic Act, and industry voluntary standards. Chuo Kagaku only uses materials that pass these standards and then ships out safe and sanitary plastic containers that serve a variety of functions.

The voluntary industry standards are stricter than the laws and government standards, and the Chuo Kagaku standards are stricter than the voluntary industry standards to ensure our food containers are safe and sanitary.

Use of Recycled Plastic

The government has also set regulations and standards for using recycled plastic in food containers. Our prodcuts are made out of only raw materials that comply with laws and industrial voluntary standards. Some of our recycled plastic prodcuts comply with laws and regulations, administrative guidance(guidelines for recycled plastic), and industrial voluntary standards as well.

Sanitation Management at Production Plants

Thorough sanitation management is conducted at the production factory to ensure safe food containers are sent to our customers. Multiple clean checks, including air pressure control in the factory and air shower rooms, are conducted so that debris is not carried into the factory.
